Eleanor and I happened upon this cupcake in our travels out and about today. It purports to be a pancakes & syrup cupcake, with bacon. The bacon was very tasty. The cupcake was average. (For over the top tasty cupcakes in Pittsburgh, I recommend Coco's. The source of this one is a distant second, mostly due to variability in quality. Like Charlie Brown on Halloween, sometimes you get rocks.)

Weird - was it actual bacon?
I ate a bacon/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich from Panera bread today - that has to count for something, right?
Real live bacon. Probably the most honest thing about it. The rest was just meh.
I've been wondering about the new Panera sandwiches. The pictures are always better than the reality. And my nearest Panera screws up every order. Today I ordered turkey chickpea chili and got garden veg soup. Was so worried about Eleanor's screaming (happy screams but still) scaring the other customers that I didn't notice until I was almost done. Maybe I'll try it if I ever get out by myself. Probably not in this lifetime.
