taking a poll, giving a prize
Tara of TwoSheep Greetings has made some amazing sample invitations for the kids' birthday party. She posted samples on her blog, with more views at Flickr. I love them both and can't decide! I took an informal poll last night that was deadlocked. Now it's your turn. Let me know if you like the Green background or the White background in the comments. I like them both too, but I do like the white if I had to choose!
Initially, I liked the green one, too, but the other one had more staying power with me (even though it might be said to be more "girly" and I shy away from "girly"). The green one came to seem too dark, especially with that dark cupcake. Also, while it is nice in some ways to acknowledge that O is older and having a third birthday, it may also cause trouble now or later to have him having three cakes and E one, even if only on the card. Either card is great, though. I hope you'll frame a sample and let it be the first of a long line in a series. It will mean so much in your daily life 18 years or so from now.
GREEN BACKGROUND FOR ME!! i like the 3 cupcakes and 1 cupcake and less busy background. both are beautiful though!!
