talk to me

Okay, I know you're out there. I see you checking this blog once a day, and sometimes more often than that. But you're awfully quiet! I'd love to know why you're a regular reader, and in addition to pictures of Oliver, what you would like to see more of. With the holiday break from work coming up I'll have more time to ramble on in my usual fashion.

Thanks for stopping by Melissa! That's the reason I read a lot of parent blogs. I get to hear about the same problems I'm having, usually expressed much more eloquently than I can manage.

I too like to read other peoples blogs about their kids. I don't write down as many of the problems I have nor the feelings I'm thinking because it is more of a picture blog for my family (and I'm not much of a writer). It is nice to read other blogs and relate to what others are going through as well. Thanks for a great blog!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Elizabeth. I'm envious of that fifth tooth! Oliver has been stuck at four for a while now.

Thanks for stopping by, M. Great question! I can say my choice of words is intentional. I follow the lead of all those who work at the facility. They refer to themselves as "educators" or "teachers". They all have college degrees, mostly in early childhood education. I serve on the "Parent-Educator committee". The full name of the facility is Cyert Center for Early Education and Program for Collaborative Learning. There's an educational philosophy (inspired by the schools of Reggio-Emilia in Italy) behind everything they do. I think of it as a whole lot more than just daycare.
